SONIC BANGKOK

This street art installation in an abandoned nightclub on a busy street in Bangkok completely captured the essence of Stranger Things and created a social media sensation as thousands of young Thais came to the site to get their photo taken.

It was a 3-way collaboration between sculptor / toy maker NDTM and TRK.

To highlight the launch of Stranger Things 2 in Thailand, we commissioned Thai street artist MAUY to create a 3D interactive street artwork of the portal, key characters and demogorgon in Stranger Things. We did this outside Bangkok Arts and Cultural Centre where it was live for 2 weeks. The mural popped up without announcement and caused a social media storm as people posted photos wondering where it had come from.
